At RanchView, we help family caregivers take the time to rest, recover from stress, and restore balance with our respite care program. We open our doors to their loved one for a limited stay in our community, giving the caregiver temporary relief.

We offer quality respite care in an enclosed, lushly-landscaped 15,000 square foot home with gated access for safety and comfort. We’re located north of San Diego in Olivenhain, an unincorporated area between Encinitas and Rancho Santa Fe, and have been a part of the community for over 50 years.

Caregiving can be highly demanding and easily lead to stress, exhaustion, and burnout. Respite care gives family caregivers a much-needed break to restore their well-being. When caregivers take time for themselves, it allows them to:

I find that all the staff at RanchView are so helpful, friendly, and very sincere in the care that they give to the residents. My wife has been there since February of 2021, and the care she receives is wonderful. There is a very nice patio to visit and listen to the live entertainment. The facility is very nice and clean. I am very glad that we were able to get her into this facility. I recommend it very highly.
